Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center

1. Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center is located on a 74-acre site just west of Waco, Texas



2. The medical center contains a 92-bed women's and children's hospital, 144-bed community hospital, medical office building and central utility plant



3. The landscape around the center includes a number of native and drought-tolerant plant materials hoping to reduce water consumption



4. To create a unified architectural expression, signage monuments are integrated into the landscape design and are constructed of materials that relate to the building's architecture


5. The hospital consists of six floors: two floors of ancillary functions and four floors of beds



6. 48 family-friendly and single occupancy medical-surgical beds are stationed on each nursing floor and are located within close proximity of a nursing station
